United Protective
Systems was founded in 1942 by a
master electrician, Joseph J. Lane,
upon his return from World War II
and is currently managed by his son
Martin J. Lane. United has been in
business for over half a century and
is now one of the best-recognized
privately held security companies in
the metropolitan area. United
Central Station Monitoring facility
is located and operated from
United's own Security
Headquarters
in SOHO.
UNITED is licensed by the State of
New York to install and service fire
alarm & burglar alarm systems.
United is a New York City Fire
Department approved service and
central monitoring station.
